On arrival I was bumped from my double room to a single overlooking and hearing the train station. Receptionist told me she had tried to phone my mobile and tell me double not available and my phone going to voicemail! A downright lie as I was handsfree all the way from Sunderland and took at least two other calls!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a decent size and for a one night stay did the job.
Unfortunately our room was above the train track so was a little noisy at times during the stay. Cleanliness of the bathroom was ok but the bath was quite soiled so avoided the use of the shower.
